Is SuperSplit really free?
Yes. Tracking expenses, smart settle-up, flexible splitting, multi-currency and shareable links are free forever, with no ads and no daily limits. Premium only adds extras like receipt scanning, charts and export.
Do my friends need to download the app?
No. You can share any group as a view-only link that opens right in the browser at supersplit.app/groups/… — no install and no account needed to see who owes what.
How does “smart settle-up” work?
SuperSplit looks at everyone's balance in a group and calculates the minimum set of payments that settles all debts — so instead of everyone paying everyone, each person makes just one or two transfers.
I'm switching from Splitwise — is it easy?
The flow will feel familiar: create a group, add people, log expenses, settle up. The difference is no 3-per-day expense cap and no video ads. You can start a fresh group in under a minute.
Which currencies are supported?
Over 150 currencies with live exchange rates. Mix currencies within a group while travelling and SuperSplit converts everything to your group's home currency.
Is my data private?
Yes. We're privacy-first, store data on EU infrastructure, and never sell your information. You can request account and data deletion at any time from our account-deletion page.
Which platforms is SuperSplit available on?
SuperSplit is a native app on iOS and Android. Anyone without the app can still open a shared group in their browser via a view-only link — no install required.
What does Premium include?
Premium adds receipt scanning, spending charts and insights, recurring expenses, unlimited history and export, and priority support. It costs $29.99 per year or $99.99 once for a lifetime pass, with a 7-day free trial. See pricing for the full breakdown.
How do I delete my account and data?
In the app, go to Settings → Delete Account — it takes effect immediately. Or email dev@supersplit.com from your account's address and we'll delete your account and personal data within 30 days. Full details on the account-deletion page.
