Who makes SuperSplit

Adee Labs is an independent product studio behind apps, plugins and extensions used by creators, designers and travelers. The studio started the way a lot of good software does: someone scratching their own itches. A cleaner way to vectorize an image. A faster way to write inside the browser. And, the itch that eventually became SuperSplit, a fairer way to split a group trip without anyone doing spreadsheet surgery at the airport.

Each product shipped, found users, and stuck around. There's no growth-hacking playbook here. The bet is simpler: make tools sharp enough that people quietly keep them, tell a friend, and forget they were ever made by a small studio at all.

Why we built SuperSplit

Expense splitting had become a story about paywalls. The best-known app limits how many expenses free users can add each day and shows ads unless you pay (details, with sources). Splitting a bill with friends is basic arithmetic; we didn't think the basics should be rationed.

So SuperSplit was built around a different deal. The core job, unlimited groups and expenses, flexible splits, suggested settle-up payments and invites, is free, with no ads and no daily limits. Pro covers the time-savers (receipt scanning, currency conversion, repeating bills, reminders, insights and export), and there's a one-time lifetime option because we think subscription fatigue is real.

How we work

Being independent means we answer to users, not investors. SuperSplit doesn't show ads, and you can delete your account any time from the app, with no retention dark patterns. When we compare ourselves to other apps on this site, we say plainly who each tool is best for, including when it isn't us.

What's next
